An interview may be requested.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Although MVA does not administer entranced exams, a copy of the most recent report card and any psychological or educational assessments which may have been performed are required.\u00a0 It is of the utmost importance that you inform us if your child has any learning difficulties in order to ensure that MVA is the right placement for your child.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Required for application:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Completed International Student registration form<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Completed Standard registration form<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Student Visa<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Copy of student&#8217;s current passport<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Student&#8217;s report card (translated) from previous school (Grade 1-12)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Copy of students psychoeducational evaluation (if applicable)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Students in Grades 7-9 may be required to have an interview<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Students in Grades 10-12 will be required to have an<\/span> interview<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">$250 non-refundable application fee<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">$750 non-refundable tuition deposit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Upon acceptance of international students, MVA will provide one letter for visa purposes indicating that the student has been accepted at MVA.\u00a0 There will be a nominal fee of $20 per letter\/documentation thereafter.\u00a0 The school must receive one week notice for any letters\/documentation required.\u00a0 Students will not be permitted to attend class if they cannot produce their student visa prior to start date.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">For additional information, please contact the Admissions Director, Colleen Pollock at 403-217-4346 or <a href=\"mailto:cpollock@mountainviewacademy.ca\">cpollock@mountainviewacademy.ca<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>International Students Thank you for your inquiry to Mountain View Academy.
